This blog is one I started when the snows of 2009 arrived in November to keep the family informed about life in Glasgow.

I am married to Margaret we have three sons Steven, Philip and Matthew dotted about the UK and now in the Middle East.

Of interest might be the family history section which looks at the Abbott and Howat families when they finally linked up in 1970.

The Abbott family moved from Kidlington Oxfordshire to Minworth Warwickshire around 1890. The Howat family moved from Cumnock, Ayrshire and settled in Glasgow around 1900.

The holidays section highlights some of the holidays we took with the boys and some of the crusies we have taken in the last few years which is very much work in progress.
